WHO WE ARE

SIMS™ allows organic and conventional non-GMO soybean growers to reproduce soybeans from breeder seed (BrS) under a licensing agreement. It allows the grower to reduce seed expense, maintain and advance highest genetic purity in the marketplace, and potentially realize a greater premium from processors.

What We Do

WHAT WE DO

  • Source breeder seed (BrS) through SIMS™ affiliate Galena Genetics, LLC, an exclusive breeder of non-GMO soybeans

  • Provide on-farm soybean seed cleaning for SIMS™ enrolled, licensed growers

  • Complete germination testing - both pre and post cleaning

  • Conduct genetic purity analysis; seed count determination

How It Works

HOW IT WORKS

  • Purchase and plant breeder seed from Galena Genetics - requires license agreement*

  • Harvest and store production

  • On-farm cleaning and testing by SIMS™

  • Retain clean units for next year’s planting

  • Pay royalty/cleaning fee based on cleaned units*

  • Plant seed harvested from the previous year
